Family Collaboration

Over spring break, my nephews and niece, Linus (7), Arlo (5) and Sybil (2), came to visit. I set out a large piece of kraft paper and markers on the table, and each of us took a corner. Later, I finished the piece with tempera paint and colored pencil. I love working with them as a group; as an aunt, I get to share an active, equal, artistic moment. We are all invited to the drawing table and there's no chance for favoritism. We can all contribute and be proud of our creation!

The finished piece. Aunt Jojo's corner at bottom left.

Arlo made the very center and I continued with orange and yellow.
