Self-Portraits

Art for Elementary course. Future elementary school teachers. Introductory lesson where they had to incorporate the letters of their first name into a self-portrait. I gave them almost zero instruction and showed no examples. This was an example of how NOT to teach art. But they jumped in anyway, as kids are apt to do, and succeeded despite my "teaching" or lack thereof!
